Treabar’s experience in "Genshin Impact" has become a point of criticism. The maps and the story are seen as shortcomings.

It seems that I share the same feeling as many others, especially when playing Genshin Impact recently. Whenever we are immersed in the main storyline of Fengtian, the end of the Natha storyline arrives. However, I do not feel any special excitement, and many of the plot points are hard to remember, especially since Genshin Impact entered the Natha version, I clearly feel the boredom of the story. This has made me increasingly lose interest in playing Genshin Impact. Have you felt the same way?
Firstly, the map design has become overly complex. The infamous ‘hell map’ of the Mustard version was already criticized, but the official’s layered design did make it easier to navigate. However, with the launch of the Fengtian version, the map design seems to have gone off the rails, significantly increasing our difficulty in playing. Especially in the current Waveland, it has even been designed with three layers of maps, causing players considerable distress.
Of course, the complexity of the map design might be to increase the enjoyment of exploration, which I can understand. However, the decline in story quality cannot be excused. Since the Natha version, I have been eagerly anticipating the story of Genshin Impact to improve, but the reality is not as expected. The Fengtian version at least had Fennnora to anchor the entire story, but the Natha version now seems mundane and dragging. The main storyline is boring, and some dialogues even last for several minutes.
The main storyline is so bad that the character design is also a problem. Many characters in the Natha version seem to be added just for the sake of quantity, and many feel like they were forced out by the official. Without those shield monsters and Natha bosses, many characters might have already fallen apart, and no one would be playing these characters. This cannot be helped, it is the official’s operation.
The most pressing issue is content, the world of Genshin Impact’s puzzles have become more complex. Indeed, the rewards are more generous, but the problem is that the content has become fragmented, no longer as saturated as before, but instead scattered throughout the entire world. The benefit is that the storylines are more coherent, but the ordinary player’s power cannot gather and investigate these storylines.
Finally, the most troublesome issue is the card pool’s appeal. The official has implemented a strategy of strong five-star and weak four-star cards. Look at the card pools in each version, if a character has any strength, four-star cards are often the underdogs, and if a character is not well-trained, they will be placed in the card pool as strong four-star cards, forcing players to enter the card pool. I got Ian-san, but ended up with Vaara. You see, how much suffering does this situation cause players.
