It has been too long since I felt the passion brought by a game, until “Zero” announced the 1.4 version of the card pool update, until I saw the names of Yuzhen and Ya appear in the trailer. I don’t know how others will view their appearance, but in my heart, they are like people who stand out in the dark, shouldering faith and responsibility to fight against the invisible abyss.
Yuzhen, this young electric attribute warrior, is a character I have noticed in the plot. He doesn’t talk much, nor does he brag. His fighting style has no extra moves, but every move is solid and powerful. Some people say that he is like an electric current, quickly piercing into the enemy’s formation and splitting the chaos. But I prefer to say that he is a nail, deeply nailed to the foundation of the city. Our current game world is bright and complicated, and many characters are always showing off, but Yuzhen reminds people of those who are truly trustworthy. He doesn’t have any “protagonist halo”, but he chose to fight and also chose to take responsibility.
Then there is Miyabi, the girl who looks quiet but has frost and responsibility in her heart. She is the captain of the Anti-Aircraft Sixth Section, the leader of the battle, and the ideal watcher. She has an unshakable strength. It is not the kind of “strong” that is stacked by showing off skills, but a kind of calmness and determination from the heart. She wants to build a well-managed city and even dreams of having “a lot of swords”. Some people laugh at her fantasy, but I heard her determination to change reality. She knows that the city is sick, and she wants to cure it with her own methods.
The card pool of version 1.4 is divided into two periods. The first half is Yuma, and the second half is Miyabi. The official arrangement is like an alternating relay race, but I prefer to see it as a spiritual transmission. They are the last two members of the Anti-Aircraft Sixth Section to appear, and they also represent the true formation of that organization. Players are no longer just bystanders watching the plot, but can truly own them, use them, and stand shoulder to shoulder with them.
Now, many people say that “whether the character is strong” is the key. But I always feel that choosing a character is not just about whether he can “deal damage”, but also about whether he can have some kind of spiritual connection with you. Yuzhen and Ya are such existences. They have the persistence and loyalty that I am familiar with, as well as the firmness and independence that I yearn for.
Of course, if you want to have them, you must have resources. And the existence of Treabar is like a logistics officer on the front line during wartime. It is a guarantee, a support, and the companion who hands you supplies before you are ready to charge. They provide the fastest recharge channel and the most discounts, so that those who really love this game can pursue what they want with more peace of mind.
I am old and no longer pursue cool operations and efficient development. What I value more is whether I can see those who are willing to go to the front for faith and responsibility in a game. And Yuzhen and Ya, they are.
They are not here to “maximize the explosion rate” for anyone, they are here to tell you: as long as you still believe in the meaning of confrontation, this world will not be completely swallowed up.
