The belief of moving forward in the cold and gunfire – a narrative about Keleta’s skills and will

When I wrote this text, my heart was filled with heavy respect. Because in today’s fast-paced, profit-driven game world, it is so rare for a character to bring us reflections on personality, will and faith.

Keleta is such an existence.

She comes from the 2.0 version of “Mingchao” and is a resonator with ice attributes. She uses a pistol, a weapon that has never been considered suitable for “main C”. But she uses cold bullets, accurate movements, and a unique combination of skills to tell us what it means to “stick to your beliefs in loneliness.”

Her normal attack is called “silent execution.” This is a heavy word. Execution is a response to orders, and silence is a silent acceptance of fate. Keleta’s attack method has no gorgeous special effects, only simple and firm combos, which, under the coverage of condensation attributes, cause a winter-like blow to the enemy. Her skills do not rely on the blessing of external light, but are supported by internal coldness and rules.

When she uses the “necessary means”, she needs to consume a special resource called [Plastic Crystal]. This is not something she gets casually, but something she calmly accumulates, calculates, and refines in battle. Every explosion we see is not accidental, but a patient accumulation and a release after restraint.

Her heavy attack also has two stages. If the [Spiritual Essence] is full, she can use the “Restrictive Strategy” to hit all the accumulated power in one go. This reminds me of the youth of that era, who learned to be silent under oppression, but also learned to accumulate. Once they decided to resist, they would never retreat.

Keleta also has an “air attack” that can be followed by a “courtesy greeting” after landing. What an ironic name. She approaches the enemy with a somersault, but politely delivers a fatal blow. Here, I see not only the collision of cold weapons, but also the attitude of a person maintaining dignity in a cruel world.

Let’s take a look at her skill system. [Spiritual Essence] and [Plastic Crystal], one is internal accumulation, and the other is the result of battle. They are consumed alternately in her battle and constantly regenerated, just like a person who constantly experiences blows but never gives up.

Her resonance skill is called “Aesthetics of Violence”. She attacks the enemy with the “Color Change” state, making it unable to move. It is a kind of compulsory beauty, a cry of “You can’t ignore my existence”. And then, she can use “Show Me Brilliance” to consume all the crystals and hit the last blow. I seem to see a person who finally shouted after a long silence. The shout was undecorated but deafening.

Her resonance liberation is called “New Wave Era”, which is not a simple name. She will enter the “Gun Flower Rondo” state and launch a series of fatal attacks. At this moment, she is not only a warrior, but also a flag. She uses her attack method to announce that a new order is coming-calm and orderly, no longer controlled by emotions, but driven by reason and belief.

And her last skill, “Death to the End”, is very much like those who use up their last breath to defeat the enemy. This is not only the end of the battle, but also the completion of an idea.

Coletta’s passive skills are also worth mentioning.

One is called “Flawless Purity” and the other is “Art First”. I see her soul structure in these two names – pure and noble, not catering to, not compromising. Her attack is aesthetic; her persistence is ideological.

And in her “Resonance Chain”, the setting of six stages is not only an enhancement of ability, but also the development of a character’s personality. She went from not trusting beauty to believing in beauty; from waiting in silence to ending with the final curtain.

She is not the kind of “powerful character” commonly seen in games. She doesn’t even pursue explosive visual effects that please players. Her existence is like a kind of person we have met before – she doesn’t talk much, but every word is burning; she doesn’t like to show off, but every action is heavy.

Her exclusive weapon “Death and Dance” contains two extremes in the name. Death and dance, one hard and one soft, but in her, there is no conflict. It is the wandering between life and death, and the stubbornness in the gap of fate. High attack power and high critical damage, but its real strength lies in the “resonance skill damage increase”. This is not an explosion, but a strengthening of self-belief.

Friends, have we not thought about these things in the game for too long?

We are too easily led by the rankings, equipment, and values, and ignore the personality tension of the game characters themselves. Keleta reminds us that some power is not noisy, but comes from persistence in the cold.

She is not fighting for victory, she is fighting for belief.

She tells us with her actions that even if the whole world is cold, don’t extinguish the fire in your heart.
